Welcome to the personal site of Matt Jackson. I'm a proud Washingtonian (the D.C. kind), trivia enthusiast, sometime game show champion, and puzzle solver.
I am currently studying Computational Analysis and Public Policy, with expected degree completion date in June 2024. Seeking opportunities to advance social good with software engineering and data science tools, preferably in the public, civic, and/or nonprofit sectors.
In 2015, I won 13 games in a row on Jeopardy!, which was (at the time) the fourth-longest winning streak in the show's history (it's fallen since then). I have returned since for the Season 32 Tournament of Champions (runner-up), the 2019 Jeopardy! All-Star Games (runner-up), and the upcoming Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament (JIT) (TBD).
My other interests include board and card games, traditional music, electoral maps, data ethics, and gelato.
